A Psychiatric Nurse recommended I make an effort to write everyday in my journal:

GOAL

FEELING

I AM THANKFUL FOR (List 5)

Here’s an example:

Goal:  Stay focused on today only.

Feeling:  Anxious

  1. I am thankful for the help I am receiving.
  2. I am thankful for my family.
  3. I am thankful for my friends.
  4. I am thankful for the air I breathe.
  5. I am thankful for the meal I ate.
